Mandie Crawford
Mandie, who has been described as a tornado, is an energetic entrepreneur and Certified Behavior Specialist with a passion for encouraging women. This former Police Officer, mother of four and stepmom to three more has an adventurous spirit and a willingness to risk all for projects she believes in. Crawford’s gutsy approach to life has empowered hundreds of women across the country.
Her true talent is the ability to help her audiences erase their self doubt, feel empowered and take action. Her passionate presentations, filled with brutal honesty about her own life and policing experiences, are easy for listeners to relate to.
No one feels alone after listening to her inspirational presentations. Crawford, a former newspaper columnist who has interviewed over 500 women in business, has self published two books, “7 Simple Principles” and “When Every Second Counts”.
She founded Roaring Women Ltd. in 2004 and has grown the organization to include chapters across Canada and into the USA.
Ms. Crawford is a two time nominee for Athena and was nominated for "Most Powerful Women in Canada - Top 100" for 2006. She has spoken at The Women of Influence Series in Calgary and McMaster University has called her "Canada's Guru of Women Entrepreneurs". She was the first "Canadian Pearl" at the fourth annual Project Legacy held in New York City.
